COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Former Maryland standout goalkeeper Liz Beardsley has been called up to the U-23 Women's National Team for its February roster. Beardsley will travel to Miami, Florida, for training camp from Feb. 27–March 7.

Beardsley was a key contributor for Maryland during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, starting all matches in her Terrapin career. She finished with 11 shutouts, the ninth-most in program history, and recorded 74 saves and five shutouts during her senior season.

Now playing professionally, Beardsley is a goalkeeper for Tampa Bay Sun in the USL Super League, on loan from the Houston Dash. This marks Beardsley's second U-23 national team selection, having also earned a call-up for the October 2025 roster.
