COLLEGE PARK, MD — The University of Maryland Women's Tennis Team will head to Charlotte, NC, where they will face off against Charlotte on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 1 PM.

The Terps are coming off a grind-it-out victory this Wednesday, where they defeated James Madison 6-1. Emma Ghirardato, Lucia Donnelly, and Magdalena Baniak all had victorious singles matches that were forced to 3 sets.

Charlotte's #1 doubles pairing, Sara Suchankova and Ni Xi, is ranked #16 in ITA's updated rankings. XI is also the #99 player ranked in singles.

With a win, this would be the first time the Terps women's tennis team has started at least 8-0 in over 35 years.
