LaPointe Scores Six in No. 3 Terps’ 15-7 Win Over Oregon

Maryland grabbed its first conference win of the season on LaPointe’s career day.
EUGENE, OR — Lauren LaPointe scored a career-high six goals against the Ducks as No. 3 Maryland bested Oregon 15-7 to move to 8-0 for the first time since 2022. Kori Edmondson scored a trio of goals as the Terps kept their great start to the season going with a Big Ten win.
LaPointe netted her fifth in the third quarter and sixth in the fourth while Leah Miller, Kayla Gilmore, and Lexi Dupcak got on the board. Seven different Terps scored in the win as JJ Suriano made seven saves in net and Jordyn Lipkin tallied three assists.
1st Quarter:

The Terps added four more in the second. LaPointe tallied her fourth of the day after Edmonson secured her hat trick with a two-goal quarter and Shanahan netted her second. Maryland took a 10-3 lead into the break.Lauren ties us up at one ‼️
