COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Rylen Stockton has been named the No. 30 catcher in the NCAA by D1Baseball, highlighting his strong start to the 2026 season.
Stockton has been a key contributor at the plate, posting a .300 batting average with a .400 on-base percentage and a .538 slugging percentage. He has recorded 24 hits, including seven doubles and four home runs, while also drawing 10 walks. His consistency has been on full display with two three-hit performances this season — first in a win over Delaware (Feb. 24), where he tallied two doubles, and again at Troy (March 8), when he added a double and a home run.
Defensively, Stockton has been just as impressive in his first season behind the plate for the Terps. He has thrown out seven would-be base stealers and has been steady handling the pitching staff, committing just one passed ball on the year.
With his production on both sides of the ball, Stockton continues to establish himself as one of the top catchers in the country.
