Rylen Stockton and Ryan Costello both homered as Maryland scored the final eight runs of Friday’s game.
Command issues and a fielding error gave way to a four-run Trojans first inning that only featured one hit. Maryland collected five hits and plated four runs against USC starter Mason Edwards. Both tallies marked season-highs allowed by the Trojans' ace as the Terps attempted to work back into Friday's clash.
A three-run seventh inning cut USC's lead to four runs as Stockton homered and Jackson Sirois plated two with the third of three consecutive hits with two outs.
