COLUMBUS, OH – The University of Maryland women's tennis team loses to #4 Ohio State 4-0 in the Terps' seventh Big Ten match of the season.
In the doubles round, Ohio State got the point after winning the first two doubles matches.
In singles, the Terps got first-set victories from
Emma Ghirardato and
Oliwia Orlinska; however, the Buckeyes were able to secure the first three singles victories, clinching the win.
Tamari Gagoshdize,
Oliwia Orlinska, and
Emma Ghirardato's matches went unfinished.
The match was called after the clinch.
The Terps are now 12-4 altogether and 4-3 in Big Ten matches.
