INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Oluchi Okananwa scored 27 points in the Second Round of the 2026 Allstate Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament, but the No. 14-ranked and No. 6-seeded Terps fell to No. 11-seeded Oregon 73-68 in the Second Round of the 2026 Allstate Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament on Thursday night. The Big Ten bout featured 11 lead changes, but a 14-3 run from Oregon helped the Ducks advance. Maryland will return to College Park to await its NCAA Tournament fate on Selection Sunday on Mar. 15.
Okananwa led the way for the Terps with 27 points and four rebounds. Maryland's leading scorer on the season added her ninth straight double-digit performance and her fifth game with 20+ points during that stretch. She shot 7-of-8 from the charity stripe as Maryland went 15-17 on free throw attempts. In her two games against Oregon this season, she's scored 54 points.
