Trailing by two entering the bottom of the ninth, Rylen Stockton, David Mendez, and Nate Hawton-Henley all reached to load the bases and set up Russell's blast. Maryland loaded the bases in the first inning, setting Stockton up for a two-RBI single to open Sunday's scoring. Stockton finished as one of eight different Terps to record a hit in the thrilling win.
Brayden Ryan got the start on the mound as the first of five Terps to toe the rubber on Sunday. He held the Hoosiers hitless until the third inning, when they scored their first run with an RBI double.
