COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Devin Russell was named Big Ten Player of the Week, capping off a thrilling weekend for him and the Terps. Russell crushed two walk-off home runs on Saturday and Sunday to help secure the Terps' first Big Ten series win of the season over Indiana.

On Saturday, Russell went 3/4 with three runs, three RBI and two extra base hits. His final action of the game came in the bottom of the seventh when he blasted the ball over the scoreboard in left field to secure the 14-4 run rule victory, setting up a Sunday rubber match.

Russell had a career moment on Sunday; With the Terps down 6-4 in the bottom of the ninth, Russell took the batter box with bases loaded and one out. He spotted the 3-1 count pitch and sent the ball flying over the batter's eye for the walk-off grand slam and his second consecutive walk-off home run of the weekend. The catcher finished the week hitting .500 with a 1.975 OPS as he spurred on the Terps' first Big Ten series victory of the season.
