OLLEGE PARK, MD — Each week during the 2025–26 season, a Maryland student-athlete who has demonstrated excellence both on and off the field of competition is selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.

This week's honoree is redshirt junior Devin Russell of the baseball team.

Devin Russell crushed two walk-off home runs on Saturday and Sunday to help secure the Terps' first Big Ten series win of the season over Indiana. On Saturday, Russell recorded three hits, three runs scored, three RBI and the walk-off home run to secure the run-rule victory in seven innings. On Sunday, with the Terps trailing 6-4 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Russell crushed a grand slam to secure the win and the series victory. Russell hit for a .500 batting average and 1.975 OPS on the week.
