Ty Kaunas and Bud Coombs both left the yard in Saturday’s conference clash.
Bud Coombs left the yard for the third time in his career in the top of the sixth inning to get the Terps on the board. Maryland didn't have many answers for Iowa's pitching as the Terps collected seven hits but were limited to two runs.

Logan Hastings only allowed three earned runs across his five-inning outing as he kept his Terps in the ballgame. He collected four strikeouts and limited Iowa to six hits across his 100-pitch afternoon as the first of only Terps to toe the rubber as Cristofer Cespedes held Iowa to one run on two hits across his three-inning relief outing.
