CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - On day two of the Virginia Challenge, the Maryland Terrapins track and field team set three new top-10 all-time records. The Terps also earned a total of seven top-10 finishes in their respective events.
Roman Spikes turned in a time of 20.76 seconds in the 200 meters, improving his second all-time mark in program history.
Morgan Graham recorded a mark of 54.70 meters in the discus, setting a new second all-time mark in program history, Graham already held the second best spot in the record book.
The 4x100 meter relay team composed of Victoria Teasley, Jasmine Davids, Jasmine Sharps, and Armanie Coleman set a new third best all-time mark in the event at 45.07 seconds.
Bryce Hatcher set a new personal best in the 200 meters after running a time of 25.12 seconds.
The Terrapins will return to action next week at the Penn Relays, running from April 23–25. Competition begins at 10:00 a.m. each day and will be streamed on FloTrack.
