PHOENIX, AZ -- Maryland women's basketball senior
Yarden Garzon will participate in the Women's College All Star Game presented by Lilly Saturday, April 4 at the Global Credit Union Arena at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.
The game will tip off at 11 a.m. MST, and all All-Star Game participants will also take part in the Lilly Women's College All-Star Combine on Friday morning. Coverage will begin at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN2.Â
The 20 Lilly Women's College All-Star Game participants, includes a robust roster of talented players that have earned conference and national accolades this season. Players will compete on one of two teams — Team Lieberman and Team Miller — coached by Naismith Basketball Hall of Famers Nancy Lieberman and Cheryl Miller, respectively. Garzon led the Big Ten in three-pointers made with 88 this season, which is also the fifth-most for a Terrapin in a single season in program history. She averaged 12.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 36.7% from outside the arc this season. Garzon earned All-Big Ten Third Team honors this year. She reached the 1,500-career points mark last month.Â
