
Nelligan Adds Lola Montevago to Maryland’s 2027 Roster

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland gymnastics program has welcomed Lola Montevago, an experienced transfer from George Washington, Head Coach Brett Nelligan announced Monday, adding depth and talent to the Terps' 2027 roster.
"We're thrilled to welcome Lola to the Maryland Gymnastics family," Nelligan said. "Lola is incredibly talented and brings experience in all 4 events. Lola is poised to be a star in the Big Ten."
Lola is a two-time NCAA Regional Round 2 uneven bars individual qualifier in 2025 and 2026. She captured the 2026 conference championship titles in the all-around and uneven bars while earning first-team all-conference honors in the all-around, bars, and beam. She was also named the 2026 Conference Gymnast of the Week after earning 2025 Conference Rookie of the Year honors.
Her career highs include a 9.825 on vault, a 9.975 on bars, a 9.85 on beam, a 9.9 on floor, and a 39.225 in the all-around.
