COLUMBUS, OH — The Maryland Women's Tennis team will face off against #10 Northwestern in the Big Ten Tournament presented by Allstate this Thursday, April 23rd, at 2 PM in Columbus, Ohio.

The Terps have finished as the #7 seed in the Big Ten standings with a 16-6 record and an 8-5 Big Ten record.

The winner of the match will play in match #7 against the #2-seeded USC on Friday, April 24th, at 2 PM.

Northwestern has historically dominated the matchup between the Terps, going 9-1; however, the Terps broke the Wildcats' 9-match winning streak on Friday, April 17th, when they dramatically defeated Northwestern 4-3.

Thanks to Diya Challa's and Tamari Gagoshidze's heroics, down 3-2, both won their matches to clinch the Terps the 4-3 victory!

This match broke a Maryland women's tennis single-season record for most Big Ten Wins with eight wins.
