COLLEGE PARK, MD – The University of Maryland women's tennis team wins against Purdue 4-0 in the Terps' eighth Big Ten match of the season.
In the doubles round, Maryland secured the point by winning two of the three doubles matches, thanks to victories by
Emma Ghirardato,
Diya Challa,
Oliwia Orlinska, and
Aida Eissa.
In singles, the Terps got the first three singles wins, with victories from
Lucia Donnelly,
Emma Ghirardato, and
Oliwia Orlinska, to clinch the 4-0 win!
Magdalena Baniak,
Ema Kovacevic, and
Diya Challa's matches went unfinished.
The match was called after the clinch.
The Terps are now 13-4 altogether and 5-3 in Big Ten matches. The Terps are also still undefeated at home!
