Maryland Women's Tennis Receives 3 Nominations for CSC Academic All District

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The University of Maryland Women's Tennis team received three honors for the 2026 CSC Academic All-District. The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Emma Ghirardato, Ema Kovacevic, and Oliwia Orlinska were the three nominees for the Terps.
Ghirardato currently has a 3.789 GPA as an economics major. Kovacevic holds a 3.820 GPA as an aerospace engineering major, and Orlinska has a 3.942 GPA in management.
It was an academic week for the Terps, as Maryland Athletics announced a school record set this season with an APR (Academic Progress Rate) score of 990 within all athletic programs. Of the teams, 14 programs earned a perfect score of 1000, including women's tennis.
