
Maryland Selected As Finalist For 2026 NACMA Marketing Team of the Year

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The University of Maryland marketing department has been selected as a 2026 National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) Marketing Team of the Year finalist, as announced by the organization.
"Being named a finalist for this award is a tremendous honor," said Associate Athletic Director of Marketing & Revenue Strategy Jordan Looby. "This recognition reflects the creativity, collaboration and commitment of countless individuals who work every day to elevate Maryland Athletics"
"This recognition reinforces the efforts and work we do every day to enhance the fan experience and generate revenue in order to make Maryland one of the premier programs in the country," said Rachel Palmer, Assistant Athletic Director of Fan Development & Event Marketing.
Maryland has already won the award three times, in 2015, 2020, and 2023 and seeks to become the first four time winner in award history.
Maryland is a finalist in nine different categories: Ticket Revenue Campaign, Branded Dynamic Collateral, Digital Media Engagement, Viral Social Initiative, Affinity Group Marketing, Lead Generation Campaign, Single Game Attendance/Sellout Campaign, Game Day Experience, Community Engagement
Maryland is one of three finalists for the Marketing Team of the Year award, along with Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.
In its 14th year, the nominations for the Marketing Team of the Year Award span across a diverse amount of divisions throughout our Association's membership. The NACMA Marketing Team of the Year Award was created to show the type of impact that a marketing team has, not only in the athletics department, but on campus and surrounding communities as well.
The Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, June 8 starting at 12 p.m. ET, after opening remarks from NACMA leadership and before the Keynote Session. The ceremony will announce the winners of the 2026 'Best Of' awards along with the 2026 Marketing Team of the Year.
