
Maryland Wrestling Announces Big Ten Opponents For 2026-27 Season

The Terps will host four Big Ten duals in College Park next winter.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Big Ten Conference released the opponent schedule for the 2027 wrestling season last week. Maryland will host four conference duels and take to the road for another four conference duels next winter.
Maryland will host Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, and Rutgers at the Stephen M. Schanwald Pavilion at XFINITY Center, giving local fans four opportunities to watch Big Ten wrestling duels in College Park.
The Terps will face Illinois, Minnesota, Penn State, and Purdue on the road. Dual dates, times and television information will be announced at a later date.
"Wrestling in the Big Ten is the pinnacle of our sport," head coach Alex Clemsen said ahead of his eighth year at the helm of the program. "Seeing this slate of opponents just shows how great our league is. It's going to be a BIG year for Turtle Power!"
