
Cross Country Announces 2026 Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The 2026 Maryland women's cross country schedule has been officially announced with the Terps set to start competition on September 4 at the Delaware Invitational.
Overall, the squad will take part in four regular season races before heading to the Big Ten Championships (Oct. 30) and then NCAA postseason meets.
Following the opening weekend, Maryland will take part in the Penn State Spiked Shoe Invitational (Sept. 11) and then the prestigious 52nd annual Paul Short Invitational (Oct. 2) hosted by Lehigh.
The final tune-up before the championship season will be the Panorama Farms Invitational on Oct. 16.
The Terps will be led by junior Rose Coats who is coming off an NCAA Championship appearance for the second consecutive season. Headlining the squad alongside Coats will be junior Eva Rogers and sophomore Katie Dutko. Maryland has 13 returning runners from last season as well as a strong incoming freshman and transfer class for the upcoming campaign.
