Gregware Leads Terps at Bearcat Invitational

CINCINNATI, OHIO -- The Maryland men's golf team wrapped up at the Bearcat Invitational at the Coldstream Country Club in Cinncinati Tuesday. Junior Will Gregware tied for 11th to lead the Terrapins.
Gregware went -3 with a score of 210 (69-71-70). He racked up nine birdies and parred or birdied 48 of 54 holes in the event.
Senior Emil Riegger tied for 28th with a score of 214 (71-74-68), which was +1. Sophomore Caden Piselli tied for 36th with a score of 215 (74-69-72), which was +2.
Freshman Robby Rosati shot a 222 (70-72-70) and freshman Charles David Beeson shot a 223 (72-79-72) in their collegiate debuts.
As a team, Maryland tied with Kentucky for seventh out of 17 teams competing. The Terps went +1 overall and shot a combined score of 853 (286-286-281).
Next, the Terrapins will compete in the Chicago Highland Invitational Sept. 21-22 in Chicago.
