COLLEGE PARK, MD — The No. 2 Terps continued their historic start to the season with a 3-0 win over Rutgers on Friday afternoon. The victory brought Maryland to 9-0 (2-0 Big Ten) for the 10th time in program history.
Djuna Eikelboom's first goal of the season came late in the first half and opened Friday's scoring. The Terps won their fifth straight meeting with Rutgers (4-5, 0-1 Big Ten) as they improved to 2-0 in conference play for the eighth time since joining the Big Ten in 2014.
