Maryland is back in action on Senior Day on Sunday.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland fell 2-0 to Old Dominion at Ludwig Field on Thursday night in the third-ever meeting between the two schools. The Monarchs (2-4) scored in each half to drop the Terps to 2-2-1 on the young season.
Maryland outshot the Monarchs 11-6, but struggled to put many shots on target in just its second loss of the season. Gemma Davitian led the Terps with three shots and Faith Luckey made a trio of saves in net. Maryland is back in action against Binghamton on Sept. 6.
