As a Senior (2015):

  • Competed on beam and floor in all 13 meets
  • Tallied a season-high 9.900 on beam at Texas Woman’s University and Brown (3/1)
  • Scored a season-high 9.800 on floor three times: vs. George Washington and WVU (1/9), at Texas Woman’s University and Brown (3/1) and vs. W&M, Bridgeport and So. Conn. (3/8)
  • Recorded a score of 9.800 or higher on beam in 12 meets
  • Tied for 23rd on beam at the Big Ten Championship (3/21)
  • Ranked tenth in the Big Ten on beam
  • Ranked tied for 49th in the nation on beam
  • Named to the All-Big Ten Second Team
  • earned All-Big Ten Academic honors
  • Awarded the Founders Award at the 2015 Terp Awards
  • Served as team captain.

As a Junior (2014):

  • Tied the program record on beam
  • Earned regular-season first-team NACGC/W All-America honors on beam
  • Competed in beam, floor, vault and bars in all 13 meets.

As a Freshman (2012):

  • Competed on beam and floor in 13 meets, and vault in 12 meets
  • Named to the All-EAGL beam second team
  • Earned EAGL All-Tournament second team honors on beam after tying for 10th at the EAGL Championships
  • Earned Rookie of the Year honors and won the Dynamite Beam Award at the team banquet
  • Placed 13th on beam at the NCAA Fayetteville Regional
  • Earned EAGL Rookie of the Week honors for Jan. 24, after winning her first career gold medal on beam against Alaska and Bridgeport (1/20)...scored a career-high 9.850 on beam at Florida (1/27)
  • Recorded a personal-best 9.825 on floor at the EAGL Championships...named to the EAGL All-Academic team.

Before Maryland:

  • Competed for ENA Paramus Gymnastics in Paramus, N.J., for 11 years
  • Placed ninth in the all-around at the 2011 Level 10 nationals, and placed sixth on the beam
  • 2011 New Jersey state vault champion, placed second in the all-around
  • 2010 Level 10 New Jersey state beam champion, and AA silver medalist
  • Level 10 national qualifier in 2009...won the bronze medal for the beam and the floor at the 2009 Level 10 regionals.

Personal:

  • Daughter of Paul and June Giameo
  • Has one sister, Jaclyn, a tennis player at Rider University, and one brother, Anthony
  • Chose Maryland over Michigan, Rutgers, Cornell, Brown and the Air Force Academy
