Before Maryland: Lettered twice in cross country at The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, Ga. ... team was three-time state champion from 2000-2002 ... captain of high school cross country team in 2003 ... two-time letterwinner in track and field as a distance runner ... lettered three times in wrestling ... state runner-up in 2003.
