Salyer On Eicks: "The team will continue to rely on Elizabeth's defense, as well as her continued improvement at the offensive end of the pool. We expect her to be a major part of our fastbreak offensive attack. Elizabeth is fast becoming a very well-rounded water polo player."
As a Sophomore (2007): Played in all 34 games for the Terps... finished with nine points on four goals, five assists... four goals came on 14 shots... had single-goal games four different times, including in opener vs. Loyola Marymount.
As a Freshman (2006): Played in 30 games, and started one... scored five goals on 13 shots for a .385 shooting percentage, second-best on the team... also had three assists and 12 steals.
Before Maryland: Played water polo and swam for four years at Clear Brook High School and Humble High School... elected captain of both teams her senior year... named Sprint Scholar-Athlete of the Month... member of the Houston Water Polo Club.
Personal: Parents are Ted and Stacy Eicks... has a sister, Maggie, who this season will join her on the Maryland water polo team... member of the National Honor Society... majoring in engineering.
