Before Maryland: Transferred after one semester at Marquette University, where she played on the club water polo team... led Loyola Academy to three sectional championships from 2005 to 2007... made the all-sectional first team three times, all-state first team twice, and a two-time All-America selection... played on the school basketball and swimming teams.
