• The win improves the Terrapins' record to 4-0. It was their tenth straight victory at home. Their last loss came on January 8, 2006 against then-#2/2 Duke, 86-68.
Ashleigh Newman's 17 points is a new season high.
Laura Harper followed up a career-high 27-point performance yesterday against TCU with 14 points today. She has scored in double figures in 3 of the Terps' first 4 games.
• Harper blocked her 90th shot as a Terp early in the first half. She becomes one of only 6 players in Maryland history to have recorded that many blocks.
Crystal Langhorne extender her double-figure scoring streak to 28 games with her 11 points. That streak began January 5, 2006 in a win at Boston College.
• Langhorne's 6 rebounds put her just 3 shy of 700 on her career, ending the day with 697.
Shay Doron finished the day with 10 points, giving her 1,538 for her career. That leaves her just 3 points shy of Deanna Tate (1,541) for fifth place on the Maryland all-time list.
