COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) -Crystal Langhorne had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead top-ranked Maryland to a 73-48 win over George Washington on Sunday.

Shay Doron scored 17 points for the Terrapins (5-0). Laura Harper added 14, and Jade Perry had 10.

Kimberly Beck scored 17 points to lead the Colonials (4-1), who fell to 0-6 all-time against No. 1-ranked teams. Sarah-Jo Lawrence scored 15, and Jessica Adair added 10.

In just the fourth meeting between the schools, located about 15 miles apart, Maryland took control of the game with a 15-2 run to close the first half. A three-pointer by Doron sent Maryland into the break with a 36-22 lead.

Both teams were playing their third game in as many days as part of the BTI Classic, and their shooting suffered for it. Maryland, which entered the game shooting 53.6 percent from the field, made just 43 percent of its shots. The Terps compensated with a 53-30 rebounding advantage.

After a basket by Adair 12 minutes into the second half, George Washington made just one field goal over the next 7:44. Maryland built a 42-27 lead, then erupted with a 9-0 run, capped by consecutive 3-pointers by Doron and Kristi Toliver.

George Washington shot 33 percent from the field.
