• The win improves Maryland's record to 9-0, their best start since 1991-92, when they also opened the season 9-0. It is the second time in 3 games that the team eclipsed 100 points.
• Sophomore Marissa Coleman registered the first triple-double in Maryland women's basketball history. She tallied 15 points, 14 rebounds, and a career-high 10 assists.
• Senior Shay Doron moved into fourth place on Maryland's all-time scoring list, moving past Jessie Hicks (1990-93). She now has 1,613 points. Marcia Richardson (1979-84) is next up with 1,630.
• In her eighth season as a head coach, Brenda Frese picks up her 150th career victory. It is also her 93rd at Maryland.
• Maryland pulled down 51 rebounds, the fourth time that they have registered at least 50.
• UCSB's 17 rebounds mark the fewest that an opponent has registered in the Brenda Frese era.
• Six Terps (Coleman, Doron, junior Laura Harper, junior Crystal Langhorne, sophomore Kristi Toliver, and junior Ashleigh Newman) put up double-digit point totals. At least 4 players have been in double digits in 8 of the Terrapins' 9 games.
• Langhorne's two free throws move her into fourth place on Maryland's all-time free throws made list, moving past Vicky Bullett (1986-89). She now has 297 free throws in her career.
• Senior Aurelie Noirez scored a season-high 7 points.
