• Senior Jade Perry scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the season and ninth of her career.
• Perry's 14 points were a season high, beating her previous high of 12 in the season opener against Princeton.
• Maryland has had at least one player with a double-double in every game this seasonn.
• Junior Kristi Toliver scored over 20 points for the second consecutive game dropping 23 on LSU.
• Maryland's victory was its second all-time against the Tigers and the first since 1979. LSU now leads the all-time series, 3-2.
• Perry and Toliver were both named to the Preseason WNIT all-tournament team. Toliver took MVP honors.
• Freshman Marah Strickland shot 3-for-3 from 3-point range, making her 10-for-20 on the season, a .500 percentage.
• Junior Marissa Coleman had 11 rebounds, the fourth time in five games she has grabbed at least eight.
• Senior Ashleigh Newman hit a 3-pointer for the fourth game this season and 32nd in her career.
• Senior Laura Harper scored in double figures for the fourth time this season, registering 16 points.
• The Terps went on a 14-1 run at the 16:20 mark of the second half to turn a 40-40 tie into a 13-point lead. The Terps never led by less than seven the rest of the way.
• Maryland center Crystal Langhorne missed her fourth game of the season and third straight. She is still listed as day-to-day with a mild ankle sprain.
