Postgame Notes

• The Terrapins' win improves their record to 23-3 (7-3 ACC). They have clinched a .500 season in the conference for the fourth straight year. The last time Maryland had at least four straight .500 or better seasons in the ACC was from 1987-88 through 1993-94, a span of seven seasons.
• Maryland shot 61.3% from the field in the first half, the best half of shooting that they have put together in ACC play this season. They finished at 52.5% for the game.
• The announced attendance of 8,501 ends a streak of five consecutive games where the Terps played in front of crowds of at least 10,000 at Comcast Center.
Kristi Toliver poured in 19 points, just one shy of her season high.
• Toliver hit three 3-pointers, giving her 56 treys this season. That is just three off of the sophomore record, set in 1999-00 by Marche Strickland. It leaves her only 13 behind the all-time record of 69 set by Tiffany Brown, also in 1999-00.
• Toliver was 3-of-4 from behind the arc, improving her percentage this season to .509 (56-of-110). The record for a season is .500 (38-of-76), set by Alli Spence in 2003-04.
• Toliver also is closing in on the record for free throw percentage in a season. She shot 2-of-2 today, leaving her at 48-of-54 for the season, an .889 percentage. Toliver holds the record with her .891 percentage (57-of-64) last season.
Shay Doron dished out 4 assists, giving her 385 in her career. That moves her past Lisa Brown (383 from 1985-88) for eighth place on the Maryland all-time list.
• Doron started her 111th game as a Terp, leaving her just six behind Marche Strickland (1999-2002) for the all-time record.
Laura Harper erased some bad memories of playing the Hokies. Last season in the teams' only meeting, Harper played just 5 minutes, fouling out in the Terps' 68-62 victory in Blacksburg. Today, she had 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks in 19 minutes
• Harper registered 4 blocks, just one shy of her career high. That gives her 48 this season, jumping her from 10th place on the Maryland season-record list to sixth. She has 133 in her career.
• For the 25th time in 26 games, at least three Terrapins scored 10 or more points. In addition to Toliver's 19, Crystal Langhorne scored 15 and Marissa Coleman knocked down 12.
