Senior Kristi Toliver set a new career high with eight made 3-pointers and tied the school record, previously set by Tiffany Brown against Clemson on 2000.
As a team, Maryland attempted 28 3-pointers, which also tied the school record, previously set last season in a victory against UMBC.
Toliver also surpassed the 1,700-point mark for her career.
Senior Marissa Coleman eclipsed the 1,800-point mark, becoming only the fourth player in program history to do so. Coleman finished with 21 points, one shy of her season high.
Junior Demauria Liles recorded her fifth double-double of the season, scoring 12 points to go with 12 rebounds.
Freshman Lynetta Kizer posted her sixth double-double of the season, also scoring 12 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
Anjale Barrett recorded a career-high 14 points with a career-high four 3-pointers.
Maryland defeated Virginia Tech for the fourth straight time and improved to 6-4 all-time against the Hokies.
