Team Records and Series Notes
• Maryland improves to 11-2, while UNC-Wilmington falls to 5-6.
• This was the first meeting for the two teams in school history and was also the last game of the annual Terrapin Classic tournament.
• Maryland extended their program-record home court winning streak to 46 wins. The last time Maryland dropped a game at home was Feb. 18, 2007 to Duke, 68-57.
• Maryland returns to action Sunday, Jan. 3 against St. Joseph’s at 2 p.m. ET. Tickets for games over the holidays are half price including the Terrapin’s Jan. 3 game against Saint Joseph’s.

Team Game Notes
• Line-up: Dara Taylor, Lynetta Kizer, Tianna Hawkins, Kim Rodgers, Diandra Tchatchouang. This is the second time Maryland has used this lineup, which is 2-0 this season.
• Key run: With 14:12 left in the second half and the Terps up 41-38, sophomore center Lynetta Kizer converted a three-point play followed by two free throws to spark a 9-0 run that gave the Terps’ the lead for good.
• The Terrapins were led by three players in double digits. Freshman forward Diandra Tchatchouang scored 14 and senior guard Lori Bjork scored 12 all in the first half. Sophomore center Lynetta Kizer had ten points, while freshman Dara Taylor and Kim Rodgers each scored nine.
• Maryland won the battle on the boards, 39-27, and has out-rebounded their opponent in all games except one (at Mississippi State, 42-41).
Individual Game Notes
• Sophomore center Lynetta Kizer had her third consecutive game with double-digit points with 10 on 3-for-5 shooting from the field. She hit 4-of-5 from the foul line and pulled down right rebounds.
• Freshman forward Diandra Tchatchouang has scored in double-digits in 11 of the Terps’ 13 games this season, including the last eight games. She scored 14 tonight on 5-of-14 shooting and was 4-for-7 from the charity stripe. She grabbed five boards as well.
• Senior guard Lori Bjork had 12 points in the matchup, all coming in the first half. She made 4-of-9 three pointers, including 4-of-6 in the first half, the fourth time this year she has hit four treys.
• Freshman forward Tianna Hawkins earned her third career start and was the game’s leading rebounder with 11 boards. She has grabbed double-figure boards in six games including three straight. She was also 3-for-4 from the field and a perfect 2-for-2 from the foul line, finishing with eight points.
• Sophomore guard Kim Rodgers had nine points on 3-for-3 shooting, including 2-for-2 from outside the arc and a made free throw. All nine of her points came before the first official timeout at 15:25.
