Team Game Notes

Line-up: Dara Taylor, Lynetta Kizer, Kim Rodgers, Lori Bjork, Diandra Tchatchouang. This lineup last started against Miami on Jan. 21 and is 1-2.

Key run: After falling behind 51-40 senior Lori Bjork, the ACC's three-point leader, hit a trey with 7:56 left in the game to cut the Blue Devils' lead to single digits. Less than 40 seconds later, she hit another trey to cut the deficit to five. On the Blue Devils' next possession, she scooped up a defensive rebound that led to a Tianna Hawkins layup. The Terps went on a 10-0 run to get within one and later took the lead.

This was the first time this season just one Terrapin, Lori Bjork, hit double figures. Instead, the scoring was spread out among the team as eight Terps scored. Three, Diandra Tchatchouang, Anjale Barrett, and Tianna Hawkins all finished with nine points and Lynetta Kizer had eight.

Maryland and Duke were both tied in rebounds with 42 apiece, which was a first for both teams. The Terps have held the rebounding advantage in all but two games this season. Prior to tonight, Duke had outrebounded every opponent besides two (No. 2 Stanford and Marquette).

Tonight's win by one point was Duke's smallest margin of victory all year. Maryland held Duke to shooting 32.8 percent from the field, which is their second-lowest field goal percentage all season.

The Terrapins held the Blue Devils to their third-lowest scoring in the first half this year. Their 27-point first half performance was the third-lowest for scoring in a half this season, only to 22 against Virginia Tech and 23 against No. 2 Stanford.
