• Maryland improves to 2-0 while Georgetown falls to 1-1. The Terps lead the all-time series over the Hoyas 9-2.
• Tonight's win was Maryland's first over Georgetown since Dec. 30, 2003. Maryland and Georgetown did not play from 2004 to 2010.

Individual Game Notes
Alyssa Thomas finished with 19 points. Dating back to last season, it is Thomas' 11th straight game with double-digit points and 30th of her career.
Alyssa Thomas grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds and recorded her ninth career double-double.
Tianna Hawkins scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, one shy of her career high. It was her 12th career double-double.
Alicia DeVaughn missed a career high by two points. The sophomore center finished with 14 points and seven rebounds.
