As a Junior (2021): Made one appearance out of the bullpen, allowing one run on two hits against Rutgers (3/12)

As a Sophomore (2020): Pitched in four relief appearances during the shortened season...made his season debut and tossed a perfect inning of relief to earn the save over College of Charleston (2/16)...appeared for an inning of work vs. Rhode Island (2/21)...threw 2/3 of an inning vs. George Mason (2/25)...tossed 1 1/3 innings in a relief appearance vs. Coastal Carolina (2/28)

As a Freshman (2019): Spent most of the season in the weekend rotation, starting 12 of his 15 appearances…went 1-6 with a 5.98 ERA in 64.2 innings pitched…struck out 52 to 41 walks….opponents batted .235 against him…went five innings, struck out three and gave up one earned run and three hits in his first career start against Maine (2/24)...shutout Louisiana over six innings and gave up just one hit and struck out six in a no decision (3/2)...earned his first career win at Stetson, going five innings and giving up three runs with three Ks (3/10)...struck out a career high eight over four and two thirds innings against Creighton (3/24)...went a career high six and a third innings in the Big Ten Tournament against Ohio State, giving up just one earned run and a pair of hits (5/23).

Before Maryland: Starred for York High School…went 10-0 with a 0.83 ERA his senior season…also batted .413…named the Western Maine Player of the Year…all-conference selection in 2016…also played basketball and football at York…averaged 23.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game in basketball while throwing for 1,056 yards and 10 touchdowns in football…all-conference selection in basketball.

Personal: Son of Richard and Robin LaBonte…father played quarterback at University of Maine…has two sisters, Addie and Delaney…Addie played soccer at University of Maine…was an all-conference academic selection in high school…won a little league state championship.
