As a junior (2019): saw action in 17 games…started in nine games, including against #3 Duke, #13 Boston College and seven Big Ten games…made a season high two goals and four points against Richmond (8/30)…Tallied an additional goal against #6 Virginia (9/13)…totaled six points in the season… part of team that won Big Ten regular season title...named to All-Big Ten Academic Team.
As a sophomore (2018): Saw action in 19 games and started in 11 before a knee injury…had 1 assist in 5-3 win over #12 Delaware (Sep. 8)…scored a goal in 5-4 double overtime win at #5 Princeton (Sep 18)…scored a goal in 3-1 win over #15 Rutgers (Oct 5)…part of team that won Big Ten regular season and tournament titles and advanced to NCAA Championship game.
As a freshman (2017): Saw action in all 23 games and started in 14...made first career start vs. Saint Joseph's (Aug. 27)...scored Maryland's first and third goals, which both were go-ahead scores, in 4-1 win over Bucknell (Sept. 17)...named Big Ten Freshman of the Week (Sept. 18)...scored in Terps' 3-0 win over #25 Ohio State (Oct. 13)...scored Terrapins' go ahead goal and fifth goal in 5-4 win at #3 Virginia (Oct. 17)...notched an assist in Maryland's 6-0 win at #21 Rutgers (Oct. 22)...named Big Ten Freshman of the Week (Oct. 23)...tied the game with a score in the 23rd minute in NCAA Quarterfinals win at #2 Duke (Nov. 12)...scored to tie NCAA Championship game in the 42nd minute (Nov. 19).
Before Maryland: Played four years of varsity field hockey at Archbishop Spalding…named a Third Team High School All-American…team finished first in the IAAM in freshman and junior years…tallied 47 goals and 43 assists over her career…has been named All-County every year and All-State in sophomore, junior and senior years…named All-Conference, All-Region and All-Metro every year and an All-American in junior and senior years…plays with Freedom Hockey…named JPOL MVP in 2015 and 2016 and MVP of the Maryland club championship…team won JPOL in 2013, 2014, 2014, 106 and NIT championships all four years as well…competed with the U.S. Under-17 Team the last two years and was named to the U.S. Under-19 Team.
Personal: Kyler Alexandra Greenwalt…parents are Timothy and Michelle Greenwalt…has two siblings, Tanner and Jayden…was the first freshman to make varsity at Spalding in over 20 years…names former Terp Jill Witmer as her sports hero…always wanted to come to Maryland since she was a ball girl in third grade…wants to be a Division I coach…Majoring in Communications.
