Chandler Wachholtz arrived in College Park in April 2024 and has served as Maryland Football's Associate Strength & Conditioning Coach since that time.
Before joining the Terps, Wachholtz worked at the University of Louisiana as an Assistant Strength Coach from 2022-24. Prior to that role, he served as a strength and conditioning intern for the Ragin' Cajuns from 2020-21 after earning a bachelor's degree in business management from the university in 2020.
A native of San Diego, Wachholtz holds numerous professional certifications, including National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USA Weightlifting Level 1 (USAW1), and Running Mechanics Professional (RMP) credentials.
