Sam Schuh joined the University of Maryland in summer 2022 and serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Women's Basketball.
Schuh was previously the Resident Athletic Trainer with Maryland Football for two years. She transitioned to Women's Basketball in the summer of 2024. Schuh was previously at Utah State University where she served as a Resident Athletic Trainer for the football program that won the 2021 Mountain West Conference Championship. In 2021, Schuh graduated from Dakota Wesleyan Unversity with her Master of Athletic Training degree. Schuh was also an athlete herself at DWU, being a part of the 2018 NAIA D2 Women's Basketball National Championship team. Her 2018 National Championship team is now also in the DWU Athletics Hall of Fame (2023).
Schuh is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and is currently certified in CPR/AED from American Red Cross and HawkGrips (IASTM). Schuh also completed the requirements to Dry Needle in the State of Maryland.
Schuh is originally from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
