Scott Chadwick

Scott Chadwick joined the Maryland Football program as the Director of Recruiting Operations in February of 2021.

Prior to coming to Maryland, Chadwick spent 21 seasons as a Head Football Coach at five high schools. His last stop was six seasons at Myers Park High School in Charlotte, N.C., where his 2018 and 2019 teams earned national rankings.

Locally here in the DMV, Chadwick spent four seasons at both Bowie HS (1998-2001), where he led the Bulldogs to the 2001 4A State Championship and  four seasons at Lackey HS (02-05), guiding the Chargers to appearances in the 2003 and 2004 3A State Championship game.

Chadwick also had stops at Marvin Ridge HS in Waxhaw, N.C. (2008-12) and Greenbrier HS in Evans, Ga. (06-07).

Throughout his career, Chadwick has coached 40 players who went on to play at the Division I level. He has been honored with Coach of the Year Awards by such publications as the Washington Post, Southern Maryland Newspapers, Enquirer Journal, Gazette Newspapers and the Charlotte Observer. He was also chosen as the 2010 Carolina Panther High School Coach of the Year.

Chadwick is a native of La Plata, Md. and he and his wife, Beth have three children, Tyler (Alex), Cody and Madison.
