Spring 2019: Competed in all five events and shot a 75 or lower in eight of 13 rounds…led the team and tied for 30th at the Puerto Rico Classic with his score of 218 (71-68-79), which was two strokes over…led the team and tied for 21st at the Schenkel Invitational with his score of 218 (74-72-72), which was two strokes over…earned a score of 154 (80-74), which was +10, at the Stitch Intercollegiate…tied for 43rd at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate with his score of 152 (83-69)…finished top 50 at the Big Ten Championships with a score of 229 (78-78-73).
 
Fall 2018: Competed in all four events for Maryland and racked up three top 20 finishes and one in the top 10…tied for 17th at The Invitational at the Ocean Course with his score of 147 (75-72), which was +3…led the team and tied for 20th at the Old Town Club Collegiate with his score of 208 (71-67-70), which was two strokes under par…tied for sixth at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate with a score of 208 (70-69-69), which was eight strokes under par…earned a score of 221 (74-75-72) at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational, which was +5.
 
Spring 2018: Competed in all five events for Maryland…earned a score of 226 (69-77-80) at the Puerto Rico Classic…shot a 234 (79-73-82) at the Tiger Invitational…earned a score of 234 (81-76-77) in the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate…shot a 227 (75-77-75) at the Stitch Golf Intercollegiate…finished top 50 at the Big Ten Championships with his score of 230 (75-75-80).

Fall 2017: Competed in all five events for the Terps...tied for eighth at the Janney VCU Shootout with a score of 210 (69-72-69), which was six under par (Sept. 18-19)...earned a score of 220 (73-70-77), which was +4, and tied for 31st in the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate (Oct. 2-3)...led team and tied for 10th at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate with score of 209 (72-68-69), which was -7 overall (Oct. 8-9)...earned a score of 219 (70-74-75), which was +3, in the Quail Valley Intercollegiate (Oct. 23-24)...shot a 220 (75-71-74), which was +4, in The Battle at Stono Ferry (Nov. 3-4).

Spring 2017: Competed in all seven events for Maryland...led the Terrapins with a score of 220 (71-76-73), which was +4 at the Puerto Rico Classic...tied for 18th to lead Maryland with a score of 216 (73-72-71), which was even at the Tiger Invitational...tied for 19th to lead the Terps with a score of 213 (68-75-73), which was -3 in the Linger Longer Invitational...tied for 30th at the East Carolina Intercollegiate with his score of 230 (73-79-78), which was +14...tied for 29th in the Wolfpack Spring Intercollegiate with a +2 score of 215 (68-71-76)...finished tied for 23rd at the Big Ten Tournament with a score of 217 (72-77-68), which was +7.

Fall 2016: Competed in all five events for the Terrapins...tied for 25th at The Invitational at The Ocean Courseto open the season with a score of 217 (74-70-73), which was +1...led the Terrapins at the Janney VCU Shootout and tied for seventh with his score of 137 (70-67), which was seven-under...tied for 20th at the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate with his score of 215 (74-68-73), which was +2...tied for eighth at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate with a score of 142 (72-70), which was -2...earned a score of 237 (79-78-82) at the Kiawah Classic.

Spring 2016: Competed in all six team events for Maryland...tied for 34th at the Puerto Rico Classic with his score of 218 (71-74-73), which was +2...earned a score of 232 (77-79-76), which was +22 at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate...earned a score of 225 (77-74-74), which was +15 at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate...scored a 225 (75-73-82), which was +9 at the Hootie at Bulle Bay Intercollegiate...finished in the top 30 at the Robert Intercollegiate with his +8 score of 150 (75-75)...tied for 14th, which was even at the Big Ten Championships with his score of 216 (72-71-73).

Fall 2015: Competed in four of five team events for the Terrapins...made collegiate debut at the Janney VCU Shootout in Virginia...finished with score of 235 (81-76-76), which was +19...earned a score of 225 (78-72-75), which was +9 at the Firestone Invitational...tied for 12th in the Terrapin Invitational with his score of 148 (71-77), which was +4 overall...earned a score of 152 (77-75), which was +8 at the Kiawah Classic.

Before Maryland: AJGA Rolex All-America honoree in 2014 and a two-time AJGA champion...racked up 13 top 15 finishes in AJGA competition and was named to the 2010 AJGA Junior All-Star Team...played four years of varsity golf at Circle Christian and at Windermere Prep...team won the 2014 state title and finished second in 2013...he finished as the runner-up in the individual standings in 2013...individual regional champion in 2012 and team won district and regional titles in 2011...two-time Florida Junior Tour champion...named to the All-Central Florida Boys Golf Team in 2012, 2013 and 2014...Orange County Brighthouse Network Golfer of the Year in 2014.

Personal: Parents are Romel and Wenilda Colanta...has one brother, Ryan...father played basketball at Cornell...won a Junior Olympic medal in Tae Kwon Do and has a third degree black belt...an AP Scholar...plays the violin...founded the Cleanliness and Godliness Project with donates personal hygiene products to homeless shelter and disaster relief...one got a hole in one in a tournament at age 7...came to Maryland for the education and for the golf team...also considered Central Florida, Auburn and North Carolina...government and politics major.
