Senior (2019)

  • Academic All-Big Ten
  • Posted a 3-10 record and 5.61 ERA over 29 appearances, including 10 starts
  • Second on the team in appearances (29), games started (10), complete games (3), innings pitched (87.1) and strikeouts (34)
  • First on the team with saves (3)
  • Got the first shutout of her career and pitched a complete-game one-hitter and limited Lousiana-Monroe to just one hit, while striking out three batters (Feb. 16)
  • Struck out a career-high eight batters and pitched a career-high 7.2 innings vs. Stetson (March 8)
  • Threw 7.0 innings of one-hit softball vs. Bethune-Cookman, allowing zero earned runs and earning her second victory of the season (March 9)
  • Threw 5.1 innings and earned the win vs. Rhode Island, limiting the Rams to four runs on six hits (March 14)
  • Got the start and pitched 4.1 innings vs. Michigan on senior weekend, limiting the Wolverines to five runs on five hits (May 4)

Junior (2018)

  • Academic All-Big Ten
  • Appeared in three games and started in all three as a pitcher
  • Pitched in 20 innings and had 19 strikeouts this season
  • Pitched in three innings with one hit and an earned run and strikeout at No. 4 UCLA (2/9)
  • Pitched in three innings with five hits two strikeouts no balls and two earned runs in win against Iowa (3/31)
  • Pitched in five innings with four hits, two earned runs, and a season-high three strikeouts against Saint Francis (PA) (4/11)

Sophomore (2017)

  • Appeared in eleven games with five innings pitched
  • Had one start at second base in win over Florida (2/18)
  • Also played a role as a pinch runner
  • Voted as the team's Maryland Pride award winner for exhibiting pride for her state and school all season long

Freshman (2016)

  • Appeared in 11 games, including eight as a pitcher
  • Also played role as a pinch runner
  • Earned the victory in first career appearance against Mercer (2/20)
  • Recorded first career strikeout against Monmouth (3/5)
  • Made her first start against Columbia (3/6), recording two strikeouts
  • Struck out two against St. Louis (3/11)

Before Maryland:  Four-year varisty starter at Middletown High School...as a Junior, pitched a perfect game, had a 20 strike out performance, and helped stop a team’s 64 game winning streak to advance in the playoffs...ended the 2014 campaign by being honored as Frederick County’s Co-Player of the Year and Frederick News Post’s MHS Female Athlete of the Year...as a senior, helped lead the Knights to their first ever Softball State Championship and led team in batting average (.512), RBI’s (34), and recorded 205 strike outs...named Frederick County’s Player of the Year and Frederick News Post’s All County Female Athlete of the Year...played two years of basketball while being the starting point guard and being named Captain her senior year.

Personal: Parents are Ron and Denise Main…has an older brother, Zach who is studying Civil Engineering at Penn State University...maintained a 3.99 GPA while participating in the APEX Program, carried over 14 college credits, was a member of the Math, Science, and National Honor Societies, and was selected as a State Finalist for the Wendy’s High School Heisman...sports hero is Dustin Pedroia...deciding to attend Maryland was instinctual, has been singing fight song since elementary school so it only seemed right to make aspiration of becoming a Terrapin a reality...plans to become a phyiscal therapist...majoring in kinesiology.
