Jessica Henslee was hired in Fall 2021 as the Athletic Trainer for the Track & Field and Cross Country programs after previously working as the Resident Athletic trainer at UMD for the Women’s Tennis and Cheerleading teams.

During her time with the track and field program, Henslee worked with multiple regional and national qualifiers.

Henslee completed her Masters in Athletic Training at Baylor University in May 2020. As a student at Baylor, she worked with the football, baseball and acrobatics & tumbling teams. Henslee also had a 12-week clinical immersion experience at the University of Alabama with the football team. She graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2018. Henslee was also a student athlete herself, as a Division 1 track and field athlete who specialized in the pole vault.

She has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) since 2020 and is currently CPR/AED certified. Henslee holds a Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from the NASM, is Graston Technique Certified, a certified Mental Health First Aider, and a Sidelined USA Campus Liaison.

A native from Albany, Oregon., Jessica currently resides in College Park, Maryland.
