BEFORE MARYLAND – Spent two years at William & Mary where she participated in both indoor and outdoor track…competed in long jumps and sprints for coaches Mike Trojak and Damon Petras at Rancocas Valley Regional High School…personal-best marks of 18-06.75 in the long jump and 12.5 in the 100m.
PERSONAL – Daughter of Jack and Marve Pierce…father competed in track and field at Morgan State and mother competed at Adelphi…has one brother Sterling…chose Maryland because of “great academics, a lot of school spirit, really good track program and proximity to Washington D.C.”…major is government and politics.
