Maryland women’s basketball head coach Brenda Frese welcomed Eddie Praley back to her staff as the director of video in the summer of 2022. Praley was a video intern for the Terrapins in 2015-16, then worked at Indiana and Iowa State.

Praley will oversee the Terrapins’ film preparation with cutting video and will assist with creating scouting reports.

Most recently, Praley spent the last four years as the Coordinator of Video and Recruiting Operations for Iowa State Women’s Basketball. He helped the Cyclones to three NCAA Tournaments and the 2022 Sweet Sixteen.

"We are thrilled to welcome Eddie back home,” Frese said. “Eddie started back with us as an intern and has worked extremely hard to be more than prepared for this position with us. He is so talented and will bring so much to our team and program. I look forward to working with Eddie for a long time."

"I am so excited to be back at the University of Maryland,” Praley said. “This has always been a dream of mine to come back and work here. What Coach Frese has done here in College Park is nothing short of remarkable, and I am thrilled to be a part of it all. Go Terps!"

Prior to his time in Ames, Praley was a graduate assistant at Indiana, where he worked with the women’s basketball program. He worked with cutting and editing video, recruiting materials and preparing scouting reports.

Praley worked on the Terrapins' video staff in the 2015-16 season, helping cut film and prepare scouting reports. The Terrapins went 31-4 and won their second straight Big Ten regular season and tournament titles.

Praley earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Guilford College in May 2015. He earned his Masters in Educational Leadership from Indiana in 2018.
