Before Maryland: Named the No. 32 overall player and No. 9 point guard by ESPN… WBCA High School All-American Honorable Mention and McDonald’s All-American nominees… won the American Family Insurance 3-point championship in San Antonio in her season season…finished career with 2,175 points, averaging 30.7 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 3.1 apg, 3.2 spg during senior season...AP Division 1 All-Ohio for 2018...Ohio HS Basketball Coaches Association Girls Division 1 Player of the Year for senior year...broke the Stark County scoring record with over 2,000 career points…in her senior season, she broke the single game scoring record with 60 points in a game, off of shooting 14-for-17 from outside the arc…22.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 3.2 steals for Jackson as a junior, becoming the school’s career scoring leader…shot 89 percent from the foul line…will enter senior year with 1,405 points…earned Associated Press Division I All-Ohio honors in sophomore and junior seasons…also named District Player of the Year as a junior in 2017…represented the USA in the FIBA U17 World Championship in 2016..team took bronze in Spain.

Personal: Parents are Kevin and Theresa Mikesell...has one brother, Clarke...lists Trae Young, Lebron James and Steph Curry as her sports heroes...makes 500 shots before games...new to wearing No. 11 at Maryland, wore 23 or 24 before...came to Maryland because she loved the way Coach B and the rest of her staff ran the program...."It's a family type atmosphere, and I really like that. I also want to win a national championship, and I feel like I have the best chance to do that here at Maryland"...letters & sciences major.
