As a Redshirt Freshman (2020-21): Saw action in 15 games... in her debut as a Terp scored 2 points against JMU (12/19)...went 2-for-2 from the free-throw line and finished with 2 points and 1 rebound in a win over Purdue (1/10)...scored her first career-three-pointer, had 5 points total. added a rebound in a win over Nebraska (2/14/21)...scored 3 points, dished out a career-best 2 assists and 1 steal in a win over Illinois (2/17/21)...tallied 1 assist in a win over Minnesota (2/20/21)... added 2 assists and a rebound in win at Purdue (2/25/21)...added 2 points to help clinch a share of the Big Ten title at #12 Michigan (3/4/21)...added 2 assists in a win over Penn State (3/6/21) to help the Terps win the Big Ten regular season title...dished out 3 assists in a win over Northwestern (3/12/21) in the Big Ten Tournament semi-final...knocked down 5 points including one three-pointer and 1 board in a win over Iowa (3/13/21) to win the Big Ten Tournament Final...tallied a career high 4 assists in her first appearance in the NCAA tournament in a win over Mt. St. Mary's (3/22/21).
   
Before Maryland: Ranked the No. 22 overall player by Blue Star and the No. 30 overall player and No. 9 guard by ESPN… averaged 24.3 points per game as a senior USA Today Iowa Player of the Year…named to Naismith High School Girls Award watch list…team won 2017 and 2019 state titles and has been a two-year varsity captain… earned First Team All-State honors in 2016-17 and named First Real Elite All-State in 2017-18 and 2018-19…named an alternate for the USA Under-17 National Team… named Academic All-Conference three times, earned three academic letters and three time Des Moines Register Elite 8 preseason honoree…also an AP scholar.
 
Personal: Parents are Helena and Edward Young…has four siblings, Cheryl, Alexis, Edward and Heath…mom ran track at Iowa State…wants to be a lawyer…criminology and criminal justice major.
