Spring 2021: Competed in all seven events for the 2021 season...finished in the top 50 in five tournaments...started the season notching her career lowest 18-hole round of 68 in the FAU Paradise Invitational...tied for a season-best 21st at the Indiana Invitational where she recorded the program's first hole-in-one since 2006 and finished with a final score of 222 (77, 71, 74)...tied for 52nd at the Big Ten Championships where the Terps took home a program best second place...finished the season with a 74.72 average...
Spring 2020: Competed in two out of the three events for the Terrapins before the season ended in March… notching one top 20 finish and one top 15 finish… started the season finishing tied for 17th at the IJGA Collegiate Invitational and shooting her best in season tournament score at 217 (76-66-75) which was +1, recording her lowest round in her collegiate career of a 66, -6 under par… finished the spring season tied for 12th with her score of 221 (73-77-71), which was +5, at the Hurricane Invitational, helping the team achieve their first victory of the year… finished the spring season improving her average round score from 73.33 in the fall to a 73.22 for the year, this was good for the second best scoring average on the team with her 6 tournaments played… she was one of four golfers on the team to record a round under par twice this season.
Fall 2019: Competed in four out of the five events...tied for 18th with her score of 216 (72-70-74), which was three over par in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate in Knoxville, where she played as an individual...finished 24th in the overall standings and helped team tie for fourth (best finish of the fall) with her score of 218 (73-75-70), which was one over par at the Illini Invitational at Medinah...concluded her season shooting her best tournament round of a 217 (70-77-70) one over par, and tied for 16th at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invite… finished the fall season with 73.33 average round score… she was the second best golfer on the team to record a round under par four times this season.
Spring 2019: Competed in four events for the Terrapins, notching one top 20 finish and five rounds at or under par…finished tied for 40th when competing as an individual in the Lady Puerto Rico Classic with a score of 225 (72-77-76)…earned a score of 225 (70-74-81), which was nine strokes over, in the Moon Golf Invitational…led team and finished for 14th at the Bruzzy Challenge with a score of 215 (71-73-71), which was one stroke under par…tied for 37th with her score of 232 (77-74-81) at the Lady Buckeye Invitational…tied for 33rd with her score of 149 (80-69) at the Big Ten Championships.
Fall 2018: Competed in four of five events, racking up two top 10 finishes and three top 20 finishes…averaged 72.63 strokes…opened the fall at the Cougar Classic and tied for 44th with a score of 147 (76-71), which was just three strokes over…led team and finished tied for 10th with a score of 218 (74-72-72), which was +5 in the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate…tied for 12th with a score of 215 (72-71-72), which was +5, in the Princess Anne Invitational…tied for sixth at the Cardinal Cup with her score of 219 (72-73-74), which was three strokes over par.
Spring 2018: Competed in all six events for the Terrapins…shot at or under par in two rounds and under 75 in nine of 17 rounds…tied for 30th at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic with her score of 231 (71-80-80), which was +18…shot a 228 (75-78-75) at the Moon Golf Invitational…tied for 24th at the Hurricane Invitational with her score of 225 (75-72-78), which was +9…shot a 225 (76-74-75) at the Briar’s Creek Invitational…shot a 159 (79-80) at the Lady Buckeye Invitational…earned a score of 225 (76-74-75), which was +9 at the Big Ten Tournament.
Fall 2017: Competed in all five tournaments in her first semester...averaged 74.80 strokes per round...shot a 236 (77-80-79), which was +17 in her first collegiate event at the Ocean Course Invitational (Sept. 4-5)...tied for 27th at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate with her score of 217 (74-71-72), which was +4 (Sept. 16-19)...finished 11th and helped team to team title with score of 219 (77-70-72), which was +3, in the Nittany Lion Invitational (Sept. 23-24)...earned a score of 228 (81-76-71), which was +12, at the Pinehurst Challenge (Oct. 9-10)...tied for 31st at the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational with her score of 222 (78-70-74), which was six-over (Oct. 22-24).
BEFORE MARYLAND: In 2016, Fifth best player in France in the European Golf Rankings...second place Annika Invitational Europe (74-70-70)...second place Spanish International Strokeplay (72-68-79)...tied 4th Doral Publix Junior Championship...won the Paca Women’s Grand Prix in 2015...also winner with French Team and second individually at the European Young Masters U-16.
Personal: Parents are Phillippe and Maider LaFourcade...has two older brothers, Mathieu and Vincant...chose Maryland for great academics, the competitive team and the nice people...lists Tiger Woods as her sports hero...wants to be a CEO at a large company...letters & sciences major.
