Before Maryland: A member of the Thai National Team, Aom Panassaya is a huge success on the course. The Bangkok native has received tremendous accolades throughout her career, including first place at the ISF Junior Championship in 2015 with a score of 69. Panassaya continued to prove herself, finishing fourth in the U.S. Kids World Championships in Malaysia (2015), holding on to her first place title at the ISF Junior Championship in 2016, placing second in the APJGA Thailand Master Final (2018), and first in the FCG World Series Global Cup (2019). Since 2014, Panassaya has earned over 20 first place titles in local and national tournaments.
